Flower Essence For Harmonious Relationship and the Real Valentine's Day
February is the month of Love--the celebration of Valentine's Day. There are many ideas and notions as to the significance of February 14. For our commercialized society it's a time to sell greeting cards, flowers, chocolate, champagne and anything in heart-shaped form. A little research reveals the old pagan practice during the Roman Feast of Lupercalia where (in mid February) the names of teenage girls were put into an urn and drawn by teenage boys for the purpose of a first partnering in which some sources say was to be for a full year, with many of the relationships ending up in marriage.
When the Church decided to start replacing the pagan holidays with its own versions, they used the tale of a priest named Valentine who would marry couples in secret even though the Emperor Claudius the Goth had forbidden marriage at the time (3rd century AD.) in order to induce young men to volunteer for his army. Valentine was jailed and eventually beheaded on or about February 14, 370 AD. While in jail he was befriended by and fell in love with a prison guard's daughter. He wrote her a "greeting" card before his execution, signing it "From Your Valentine", hence the phrase that is still broadly used today. The lottery was changed to a drawing of Saint's names of whom the young men and women were to emulate in the coming year.
Another (pagan) symbol that is used for Valentine's Day and the capturing of a lover's heart is Cupid, the mythological son of Venus/Aphrodite and Mercury/Hermes. (Cupido in Latin mean's Desire.) The guise of Cupid that we usually see depicted is that of a winged, chubby infant carrying a bow and quiver of magic arrows. These arrows, when shot into the heart of a prospective lover, allegedly will cause them to fall in love.
The idea of magic love potions can be found in many other myths and legends throughout history. A couple of the most recent renditions are the hit song of the '60's "Love Potion Number Nine", and then there's the mysterious legend of the confectionery aphrodisiac, green M&M's.
If Cupid was for real, what magical elixir do you suppose he would use on his tiny arrows? My feeling, of course, is that he would use a very special blend of flower essences. I have conspired with the elementals and nature spirits to create such a potion. I call it the Harmonious Relationship Formula. It's for couples. Briefly, it enhances feelings of security, sense of self, male/female balance, appropriate boundaries, joy of love, friendship, and humor. It helps open the sexual center with trust, calm, and higher awareness. The following is a list of the love energies in the formula:
Bird of Paradise: Help's one keep perspective and compassion around relationship.
Breadfruit: Stimulates second chakra, freeing stress and tension especially related to any sexual dysfunction.
Castor Bean: Promotes energy related to Yin-Yang balance and sexuality.
Ginseng: Helps balance male/female aspect of self. Regenerative tonic for meridians, body systems, and upper chakras.
Macadamia: Assists with bonding, emotional clarity, and healthy patterns around sexuality and love.
Ozone: Enhances the higher vibration of Love and Devine energy, rejuvenation, cleansing, and stimulation of crown chakra.
Rhubarb: Promotes balance and awareness of appropriate boundaries, feelings of being centered in one's self.

Yellow Pond Lily: Promotes healthy expression, discernment, security and freedom from unhealthy emotional attachments.

Most of us believe that true love has to do with deeper soul connection and emotional bonding at the heart level. This vibrational formula can help strengthen these aspects in our life-partner relationship.
